- Sebuah fenomena langka terjadi pada awal bulan Juli 2011 ini. Setiap
blog dengan domain co.cc menghilang dari google. Apakah ini bertanda
bahwa domain co.cc dibanned oleh google?
Bukti bahwa domain co.cc telah dibanned google dapat dibuktikan dengan melihat beberapa blog populer di Indonesia yang berdomain co.cc, kini sudah tidak bisa lagi ditemukan ketika mencarinya melalui search engine google. Selain itu ketika kita mencoba mengetikkan kata "randy-insider.co.cc" di search google tanpa tanda kutip, maka tidak ada satupun hasil pencarian yang cocok dengan domain co.cc, padahal seperti diketahui selama ini ada jutaan bahkan ratusan juta halaman situs dan blog berdomain co.cc yang diindex oleh google dan akan langsung dengan mudah ditemukan dengan mengetikkan "co.cc".
Dibannednya satu alamat domain seperti halnya co.cc dari google, tentu akan menyebabkan kerugian yang amat besar pagi para domain tersebut. Sebab seperti kita ketahui kebanyakan pengunjung situs dan blog yang tidak menjadi brand image, maka sudah dapat dipastikan kebanyakan pengunjung tersebut adalah berasal dari mesin pencari.
Sejauh ini memang belum dapat dipastikan apakah memang benar domain cc.cc sudah dibanned google.
